The Business Innovation Partnership service providers will meet with manufacturers from the value-added wood industry to conduct company assessments and advise the industry on the services provided within the program for no cost.  The service providers will provide specific advice on marketing, improving manufacturing processes and product development.   Please click the different headings below for more information on that assessment.

General Assessments: Meetings between BC Wood staff and value-added companies to conduct a needs analysis of the company in areas of marketing, business, technical and product design and development.

Marketing & Business Development Assessments Marketing and business assessments by BC Wood staff or a designated contractor; more specific and focused in nature than the general assessments

Technical Assessments: Visits by FPInnovations staff to value-added companies to conduct technical and product design and develop assessments that highlight areas of opportunity and plans of action for improvements.  The following are the different technical assessments available:

Product Development: Product development and design projects help companies to develop skills in using design to better differentiate their products and improve profitability.
